As hinted, I have decided to hold another contest YAY!!! Unlike the “Unofficial SatAM Soundtrack Contest,” I’m not going to participate in this one! So this one is all you guys, and hopefully my idea for this new contest will be really fun! I give you...


Introduction
Have you ever looked at someone and wondered, "What animal do they look like?" I have known people who have looked like turtles, wolverines, and even llamas - no joke! Well, lately I've been looking at my boyfriend and pondering, "What animal would he be?..." On that note, some of you may be familiar with my Sonic fancharacter/fursona Kya, who is basically the translation of me into anthro form. But unlike me, poor Kya is missing something: a boyfriend! So, with his reluctant permission (lol), this contest's challenge is to translate my boyfriend into a match for Kya!

***Please read though the following information if you're interested, and reply with a comment if you plan to participate!!!***

Rules
• Don’t draw anything that my boyfriend or I would be embarrassed to look at, especially since he isn't really part of the fandom and is skeptical about “furries” in the fetish connotation.
• Enter the contest by sending me a dA note with the link to your entry, which should be in your gallery or scraps so I can upload it into this journal.
• You can enter as many times as you want.
• Since I will probably draw the winning design in the future, all entrants must be willing to share part of their ownership with me and Kya.
• Be creative and original in your animal choice and character design!

Deadline
This is always tricky… let’s say July 28th – two months from today. If I don’t have enough entries by then though, I’ll give extra time. We’ll play it by ear.

Prize!
The WINNER that my boyfriend and I choose will receive *drumroll*….. 3 month dA subscription from me! My boyfriend will then bestow a name upon the winning design.

Hints and tips
• Ideally, the winning entry will blow us away by how much it is true to my boyfriend’s looks and personality!
• Artistic skill will help your entry, but the most important thing to me is your creativity. So if you’re not the best artist – don’t worry. You still have a chance!
• You can draw Kya with your design, but you don’t have to. But I don’t recommend drawing him with any other characters, especially female ones (Kya is the jealous type XD).
• You don’t have to do this either, but to give your design an edge in the competition, you can incorporate one of my boyfriend’s actual characteristics into your design – see the list below.

My boyfriend’s characteristics:
• His most defining facial characteristic is his goatee, so try to incorporate that into your design.
• He’s quite the geek/nerd – he loves video games (mostly Wii and PC), computer programming, designing robots, building his own desktop, anything computer-y or technical.
• He’s an awesome guitarist (both electric and acoustic).
• He’s sweet, intelligent, funny, and very goofy!
• His eyes are green but with a brown ring around the pupil.
